BENEFITS OF CHANTING THE 6-SYLLABLE MANTRA

The benefits of chanting the 6-syllable OM MANI PADME HUNG are well known to you all. By now, we feel sure you are very familiar with this chanting. It is also a means to protect our mind from its deluded thoughts. It cuts off one's ignorance and opens up one's wisdom. It augments immeasurable blessings and peacefulness can be obtained. It can save and alleviate beings from hundreds and thousands of sufferings and difficulties." This is only a brief introduction with regard to the benefits of chanting this mantra. One can go into the Chenrezig texts to obtain volumes of its benefits.

She Nying Dud Dhog is also known as "Dispelling obstacles through Prajna Paramitar"Puja. During the puja, various offerings, such as lamps, tormas, etc. are offered to the Three Roots and Three Jewels to accumulate merits. Offerings are also made to pacify the 4 maras. Once they are pacified, we can be freed from all the obstacles caused by them , particularly the obscurations of knowledge, five poisons (conflicting emotions), karmic causes and habitual tendencies.

When one participates in the She Nying Dud Dhog Puja, it will increase one's lifespan and merits and purify one's defilement and sufferings. It will also help to reverse diseases and harms and remove obstacles like bad dreams, bad signs and omens.

IMPORTANT NOTE for participants of the She Nying Dud Dhog Puja

Please pack in an envelope for each person : 1) hair strands, 2) a small piece of worn clothing, 3) finger nail. For persons unable to attend the puja personally, they need to pack a piece of dough which has been rubbed on parts of their bodies which have sickness. Note :The dough should not be rubbed on the forehead or heart area.

BLOOD DONATION on SUNDAY, 11 Dec 2011 at KKDS KL from 9am - 3.00 pm

This is one of our yearly charitable events with the purpose of helping society and the needies. A worthy cause deserving your kind attention, and please encourage your family members and friends to come and donate their precious blood to help save a life.

A medical team from the Pusat Darah Negara (Nationnal Blood Center) K.L. will be in attendance so you are in safe hands. Their blood bank is running low and there is a real need for this appeal. This act of kindness and compassion will be manifested in a tangible form by the strong response we hope to receive from you personally on 11 Dec 2011. Not to worry, you will be tested first to determine whether or not you can donate - so why not give it a try?
